Rick started teaching his first college-level course in 1988. Since then, he has taught over 200 college-level courses to more than 7000 students. He has experience teaching in both engineering and business disciplines. Rick's passion lies in online education, and he has taught online courses at St. Ambrose University and The University of Iowa.

Rick was a manufacturing engineer at John Deere for 15 years. He implemented industrial robots, vision systems, and office networking solutions. He has over 50 years of business experience.
